Our Story
I started the business in 2019 making jam simply to use up the gluts of fruit from the garden. Inspired I decided to sell my jam in my local area and online. Over time the range of jams has grown to include fruit vinegars (my particular passion), chutneys and marmalades. Some of the range has been suggested by customers and some is produce led.
Although most of the produce I use is homegrown, I also buy fruit from local fruit growers and local gardeners with an excess of fruit.
My ethos is to keep food miles as low as possible, use natural, local produce (as much as possible) and to use traditional methods and produce preserves in small batches. Much of this has come from my time working as a chef in France where I grew and preserved my own produce.
I try to keep my products gluten free, dairy free and vegan although there is the occasional exception to the dairy free.
Over the last 5 years I have slowly built up the company and we attend regular farmers’ markets and local markets. In the summer you can find me at local agricultural shows and food festivals. I have also built up a small, very select list of retailers.
Oh and to top everything off and I am delighted to have won 2 Great Taste awards and 2 Dalemain marmalade awards
